On April 19th, BME hosted the second Thirst for Science event. BME Assistant Professor Dr. Zachary Danziger presented a talk titled “Breaking the Seal and Controlling the Bladder”. Dr. Danziger spoke about how you work with your body’s reflexes to control your bladder, why you feel like you need to go when you are cold or dripping water, and what goes wrong when experiencing urinary inconsistence or retention. “It was great fun and we had lots of insightful and hilarious questions,” says Danziger. “We had about 35 people join us!”.
