Dr. Joshua Hutcheson, Associate Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, has been elected Fellow of the American Heart Association (FAHA) by the Council on Arteriosclerosis, Thrombosis and Vascular Biology (ATVB). This prestigious honor recognizes Dr. Hutcheson’s innovative and sustained contributions in scholarship, practice, education, and volunteer service within the AHA/ASA. FAHA status is awarded to leading experts who demonstrate excellence in cardiovascular research and leadership in the scientific community.

Currently, Dr. Hutcheson and his research team at the Cardiovascular Matrix Remodeling Laboratory are advancing the understanding of vascular diseases through cutting-edge engineering approaches. Their work is driving significant progress in cardiovascular matrix remodeling and vascular biology.
