On Monday, July 30th, nine students from the Department of Biomedical Engineering walked proudly across the commencement stage. A total of 3 graduate students and 6 undergraduate students earned their degrees this semester. We are proud to announce the successes of all of our graduating students. We would also like to announce the outstanding dedication and success of our students graduating with honors.

Following the commencement ceremony, students were invited to participate in the Induction to the Profession Ceremony to honor their accomplishments and induct them into the Order of the Engineer. The Order of the Engineer is modeled after the Canadian Ritual of the Calling of an Engineer. The Orders were initiated in the United States to foster a spirit of pride and responsibility in their respective profession, to bridge the gap between training and experience, and to present to the public a visible symbol identifying the engineer, constructor, or computing professional.

BME congratulates you all for your hard work and accomplishments! We wish you the best in all your future endeavors!
