PATHS-UP RET/K-12 Outreach Partnership

As part of our collaboration with RET, Alex Garrido, PATHS-UP researchers developed tool kits for high school students to create pulse oximeters. The project took place over the course of two weeks and included an in-class presentation on PATHS-UP research and project overview, one week of in class group work at the high school, and a final in-class visit by PATHS-UP students to review the project. CD-SSEC staff worked with both Mr. Garrido, Dr. Jessica Ramella-Roman, and PATHS-UP graduate students to develop lesson plans, and evaluations.
