Ujwal-ChaudharyThe College of Engineering and Computing selected Ujwal Chaudhary as the Summer 2013 Outstanding PhD student by unanimous acclaim on account of his academic achievements, excellence in research, and for exhibiting leadership in service to the profession and the community.

Ujwal’s research involves the application of near infrared spectroscopy towards investigation of brain activation,
functional and effective connectivity and lateralization in response to different tasks, such as language, socio-communicative and motor skills.

Mr. Chaudhary has earned a 3.75 GPA and is a graduate of Summer 2013. He will be serving as a post-doctoral fellow in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at FIU.
