We are pleased to announce that Dr. Sharan Ramaswamy has been appointed as the new incoming Equity Advisor for College of Engineering & Computing. Equity Advisors provide diversity guidance to colleges. The Equity Advisor program, which designates one faculty member from each college to act as an Equity Advisor, began in Fall 2019.
Dr. Ramaswamy will work with the Office of Advance Women, Equity and Diversity (AWED) to provide and support the professional development workshops on inclusive excellence for faculty. He will also assist Department Chairs and School Directors with their diversity, equity and inclusion plans and serve as a resource for faculty.
